Annenberg Cultural Center
THE RESIDENTIAL CROWD IS MADE UP OF………
The residential crowd in Beverly Hills is diverse and always interesting! Our world renowned city has been home to celebrities, entrepreneurs from around the world, as well as long time California residents. The various neighborhoods represent a wide range of value and the schools are among the best in the country. The shopping is world class and our new Annenberg Cultural Center hosts some of the most exciting dance, theatre, and entertainers in the magnificently restored post office building, originally built by Will Rogers, and expanded by Zoltan Pali to become an architectural triumph.
THE COMMUNITY VIBE IS…..
The vibe is sophisticated, yet casual, and the popular and renowned restaurants draw people from around the area. The many prestigious hotels host many black tie charitable events, and our art galleries are world famous.
THE LIFESTYLE OFFERED IS……
Beverly Hills is ideally located close to Santa Monica and Malibu beaches, with a short forty-five minute drive. You will find a wonderful alpine retreat at Lake Arrowhead, which is only a two hour drive from the city, with fantastic water sports, and great cabin rentals. Palm Springs, one of the world’s most popular desert resorts is replete with the best spas, restaurants, and casual desert living, only a two and a half hour drive from Beverly Hills. Did I mention our glamorous neighbor, “Hollywood”?!
THE NEIGHBORHOOD STANDS APART FROM ITS SURROUNDING RESIDENTIAL ENVIRONS BECAUSE…..
Because of the values of Beverly Hills real estate compares favorably with Manhattan, London, or Hong Kong, our real estate market is extremely strong. Many real estate investors are re-modeling properties which appeal to the high demand for beautiful new construction. There are four main neighborhoods. The south Beverly Hills residential section is the most affordable. The “flats” of Beverly Hills just north of Santa Monica Blvd. and the shopping district, are extremely attractive for families because of the convenient sidewalks. North of Sunset are the larger estate properties which afford the most privacy. One of the most exciting neighborhoods is Trousdale Estates, where most of the properties are deed restricted to single story and the majority of those properties have stunning views of the city with the ever popular contemporary and mid- century architecture.
Thee average home price varies according to the neighborhood. The approximate price per square foot also varies according to the condition of the house, and the size of the lot, but approximates $1300 per square foot, but for the extraordinary high end luxury estates, two and three thousand per square foot is the norm.
One of my favorite spots is “Franklin Canyon”, which is a huge private park and reservoir, just off Coldwater Canyon, perfect for hiking, picnics, and children’s birthday parties. You are away from the city vibe in a matter of minutes! Also, the Hollywood Bowl and the Disney Concert Hall are a short drive and boast the greatest artists of the world in their fantastic venues!
