The Aspen Center for Physics 50th anniversary event was going on in Aspen but unfortunately I was not part of it. My physicist skills are lacking but I did read this fascinating article in the New York Times about the Higgs-Boson discovery: “Physicists Find Elusive Particle Seen as Key to Universe“.
While I didn’t attend the Physics event, I did attend a real estate networking summit for the top agents in the United States, and the Great Ideas Festival at the Aspen Institute. The networking summit was hosted by Carrie Wells. I enjoyed talks by Larry Summers, Linda Resnick and Allen Greenspan as well as an analysis of the 2012 Presidential Campaign.
It was all topped off by the incredible Aspen Music Festival. I watched a wonderful symphonic performance and enjoyed a chamber music evening. I attended the lovely 4th of July parade which had the one and only original Wells Fargo stage coach in it.
Chopin, real estate, yoga and Aspen – what could be better on this fabulous Holiday week!
